WP eMember
There have been a few reports of the eMember plugin’s login system not working or throwing an error after WordPress 3.3 upgrade. We have added additional condition(s) in the plugin to prevent this from happening.
If you are seeing this issue on your site please get a new build of the plugin from here and update the plugin:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
If you are using eStore and eMember together then update the eStore plugin too.
WP eStore
If you are upgrading WP eStore from an old version on a WP3.3 install and you can’t edit or add products to the eStore database then this issue is related to the following:
WordPress’s “dbDelta()” function seems to be not working as documented for when a plugin needs to alter table columns (plugin upgrade path only.. not for creating new tables). The dbDelta function failes to recognize that this is an existing table and only the table column needs to be altered. It is most likely a bug that I am sure the WordPress team will fix in a patch or the WordPress’s codex documentation simply needs to be updated by the WordPress team.
We have added a workaround for this in the plugin to address any *database table not updating* related issues.
If you are seeing this issue on your site please get a new build of the plugin from here and update the plugin:

December 20, 2011 at 7:10 am #39695janeyMemberHello,
I just purchased the E-Member and I am following the tutorial videos and when I create the Premium Page, it gave me this error: “Fatal error: Call to a member function getUserInfo() on a non-object in /home/janey/public_html/soeursbelle.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/wp_eStore1.php on line 837”
Please help me! I am not really good at codes.
Thanks!

If you are using eStore and eMember together then update the eStore plugin too.
Have you updated the eStore plugin as suggested?
December 21, 2011 at 9:43 am #39697barrycockcroftMemberUsing WP 3.2.1 –
I have just updated all the plugins (eStore, eMember, PDF, Affiliate) to the latest versions and when I install eMember, all admin screens are blank and inaccessible but the font end seems fine.
Currently deleting via FTP and will reinstall old versions.
Suggestion?
thanks,
barry
December 21, 2011 at 10:08 am #39698barrycockcroftMemberAfter the downgrade… After going back to version from 25th Nov, eMember still freezes the backend…
December 21, 2011 at 1:18 pm #39699adminKeymasterBlank screen issue is usually related to running out of memory (you shouldn’t need to downgrade the plugin versions):

December 21, 2011 at 11:20 pm #39700barrycockcroftMemberThanks for the response. I increased my WP limit to 128M in wp-config but getting exactly the same problem. It only happens on the activation of eStore (which is working) but still freezing the backend. The admin menus are all visible on left, the update box is visible to wp 3.3 but everything below for every screen is blank. None of the menu tabs will expand or close – javascript problem?
If you have any other suggestions…. thanks Barry.
December 22, 2011 at 2:37 am #39701barrycockcroftMemberBack and running – it seems to be a clash with W3 Total Cache. I deactivated it, installed your plugin updates and reactivated W3 Total Cache in that order – seems fine now.
January 25, 2012 at 4:21 pm #39702morepiemediaMemberI just updated wordpress to 3.3.1 and started getting the blank screen login thing. So I updated both eStore and eMember plugins. Sorted that out. But now when I try and log in as admin I get white page with following message:
‘Sorry! We Have No User With The Key Provided.’
I can’t get in to wp admin.

March 1, 2012 at 9:10 pm #39705rweissMemberI am not using eStore on the site that I am getting the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_userdatabylogin() in public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/eMember_auth_utils.php on line 8
I just updated the eMember plugin an hour ago – so I have the latest version.
Not sure what else to look for to fix this, since the only answer seems to be to do the update.
