eStore/WP affiliate – sales not being recorded

I’m using manual checkout with eStore and WP Affiliate plugins.

I have Pay per view setup with manual sales.

This is the situation:

1) I’ve defined a product and a price

2) Customer puts it in his cart

3) Customer pushes checkout and fills in his details

4) We both get emails

Problems:

1) customer database doesn’t get updated with customer data? Do I need to enter this myself?

2) Even after sending a download link, the stats don’t update, and when I enter a customer manually, selecting the product ID and entering Paid, nothing happens as far as stats are concerned? How do I let the system know that customer X has bought the product Y so it gets recorded in my stats?

Also, my affiliate system isn’t working?

I’ve created an affiliate with the ID “Elvira” and have entered Elvira on the product page as an affiliate ID, and awarded 20 percent commission.

When I send out the Download link (which is basically a link to the protected page with videos), and click it, Elvira doesn’t get commission award + as stated in 2) nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

When using manual/offline payment you need to understand that the plugin has no way of verifying the payment. There are two ways to handle the post payment processing of a manual/offline payment. Check the following post then adjust your settings and then it will work:

Basically, check all the options available under eStore’s manual checkout settings area and read the help text for them. This will help you configure it the way that best suits your need.
