I run a publishing business that produces 10 magazines. Each magazine has its own site on a multisite network: http://www.eficitonmag.com
Each subsite needs a store and member limitations to sell subscriptions and protect pages with downloads, plus allow for affiliates to sell everything easily.
I have been working out how I want to do this all morning, and I think I am going to create a single “Store” subsite and sell through that.
Do users from eMember carry over on a Multisite install from site to site? I don’t want people to have to relogin or resignup each time they visit a new subsite. I want to make the Members from the “Store” subsite to carry over to every other subsite, so we can offer special protected content on those sites as well. Is there a small bit of code that I can use to automatically update the status of my members on other sites from a master site?
