    Hello I always (in 90%) got 0kb file for download . I tried all advices for this issue and combination of download methods. Debug file is ok . I dont know what is issue. I am using external links and sometimes I can download file and sometimes not. I have 2 websites with estore plugin on 2 different hostings. I have dropbox link and I want use it. On first website is everything ok and I always can download files from dropbox with estore. But when I use this link on second website it is not working and I have 0kb download file. Another dropbox link on second website working , another not working. On first website all dropbox links working. It is crazy. I tried renamed files. I also check download size. But it is not important. (I can download 110mb file, 44mb file not working and 27mb file working. )

    Hi avalonboy can you read through the following URL

    eStore download link returns zip file of 0 length.

    Let us know if that helps you.

    Kind regards

    @avalonboy,

    Using Dropbox to host your files is not a good idea. The main reason is that it will **DOUBLE** the bandwidth usage of your server. Instead, we recommend the use of eStore’s native Amazon S3 integration, for the hosting of files external to your site:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/amazon-web-services-simple-storage-service-aws-s3-integration-1101

    For a further technical explanation, please read this thread:

    https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/estore-encrypted-download-links-to-external-file-link-not-working

    And although it is possible to use Dropbox to externally host your files, because of the technical reasons previously stated; we cannot warrant that eStore will work with Dropbox on every site. Amazon S3 is free for the first year, and customers report an average monthly cost of about fifteen cents.
