Hi there,
I’ve followed the instruction in order to configure WP Super Cache so it doesn’t interfere with eSore but still, I’m facing a problem.
Let say I set the settings so that people can have an active link for 24h and can download it 2 times on this period.
The fist customer orders within 24h and everything is ok.
Customer n°2 orders within the same 24h and its ok.
After 24h have passed since first download or if the product have been downloaded 2 times already, then the next customer gets a message saying the link is out of date or have been used too many times.
Again I’ve respected the little tutorial regarding WP super cache. Thanks for your help
April 11, 2013 at 11:21 pm #55061wpCommerceModeratorHi, are you manually generating one link and sending it your customers?
If not then you shouldn’t be having this issue. For every transaction a new link is automatically generated (if the purchased product is digital) which will be valid based on the options you have configured in the settings. For example:
Duration of Download Link
Download Limit Count

Nope.
I gave it a try and those links are working fine.

I know but I do Links automatically generating by the system seem to be problematic. I’ll keep an eye on it and keep you posted. It might be that users are lying to me but I doubt it….
Thanks

– Actually you are right: I’m not using them but manual links are indeed never changing when trying to generate a new one. How is that ?
– Delivered pdf files delivered via encrypted links are corrupted.

Just to make sure… have you gone through this checklist?

April 14, 2013 at 1:36 am #55065rigo29MemberWell I’ve been doing several tests and this is what I found out.
The problem seems to be about the “Downloadable” option in the “Digital Content Details” tab when creating a product.
When Downloadable is activated, the source of the product (real URL) is hidden but the download generates a corrupted file. When downloadable is unabled, then the source is visible but the generated file is working.
Yes, I’ve been through the checklist and I think I didn’t made any mistakes…
Let me know what you think.
