MemberWe offer parents a sliding fee discount for kids to attend our spring and summer camps.
Here is our current example, see bottom of web page:

How do we set this up in eStore variations so full payment is the first option showing and then the sliding scale reduced price options show in a drop down menu? Have read through tutorials and forum, understand how to use variations to increase price for an item.
Thank you, Robert

ModeratorHow is eligibility for the different scholarship rates determined?
One way to offer a sliding scale is to have the product at full price, and use coupon codes; one for each of the scholarship levels.

MemberThere are no eligibility requirements specified online. Each person decides what to pay when selecting camp week for their child.
Will review discount link. Thank You.

MemberCoupon codes is an excellent solution for individual products but for kid’s camps scholarship rates need a sliding scale drop down menu.
After installing the eStore-advanced-variations-ui add-on I have a working solution. See it here:
By assigning a -negative price price for each variation value:
-0, -25, -50, -75, -100
there is now a drop down menu option with discounted prices.
Only issue is the “+” symbol showing in the drop down menu.
Any ideas how to remove the “+” symbol from the drop down menu text?
Appreciate any ideas,
robert

ModeratorI wasn’t sure if the code would handle a negative amount. Here is how to change the “+” symbol:

MemberThank you wzp.
Leaving the Variation Addition Symbol blank is working fine.
