Tagged: responsive, shopping cart, variation
I’ve recently updated my site to be mobile friendly. I have variations on some of my items as well as the customer input box for instructions. When the customer adds the item to their cart with their choices, the variations and input box instructions do not transfer to the cart and are not emailed to me with their order. This is only happening on mobile. My website is metalstampedmemories.com I’m using eStore v6.9.7.6
Hi, Please update your eStore plugin and see how it goes:
If you are still having this issue, provide a link to the page in question so I can take a look.
I’d really prefer to not have to update the plugin. Every time I do so I have to go back and change some things that did not copy over with the update.
The website on mobile is metalstampedmemories.com The variations are not being added to the cart, and neither is the customer input.
Are you using a responsive theme? It doesn’t look like you are using a responsive WordPress theme.
I am using Atahualpa. Is the only way to resolve this by changing to a different theme? Thanks for your assistance.
You need to use a responsive theme if you want to optimize your site for mobile devices.
I tested a few responsive themes and there is no change to the shopping cart. The variation information is still not transferred to the cart.
My site passes the google friendly mobile test with Atahualpa. Not sure if that matters or not.
My mobile website m.metalstampedmemories.com is set up through dudamobile and is redirected from metalstampedmemories.com
If changing themes doesn’t make a difference, do you or does anyone know of a plugin that works nicely with eStore to convert a website to mobile? I’m ready to give up on dudamobile if that is what the problem is.
Thank-you.
That theme you are using is not a responsive one. As soon as you switch to using a good responsive theme, you won’t see this issue anymore. I will send you more explanation via email.
