With the option “Subscription/Recurring Payment” I have “Reattempt on failure” checked.
(After the third failure, the subscription will be cancelled.)
When I look at one of the recurring sales under “Billing details” on Paypal I see “This profile will be suspended after 1 failure”
So my question is. After how many failures will the subscription be suspended? One or three?

If you have the “Reattempt on failure” option checked for that product (at the time of that user’s subscription) then it will try to charge the subscription a total of 3 times. The following post has some explanation on the reattempt on failure feature:

The Key thing to understand is that, you can change product parameters whenever you want but those new changes won’t affect existing ongoing subscriptions.
