MemberThis morning I discovered that when customers pay their subscription through my Stripe button, they are being charged immediately, despite the payment page clearly indicating a 7-day free trial.
I went into my Stripe account, and sure enough it is indicating No Free Trial Period for plans set up this way.
I have just had to refund someone because of this anomaly, which is clearly in need of an urgent fix.
Can you please help me sort this out ASAP?
The payment button is here:

Thanks very much,

ModeratorHi, Did you a create a new product after the last update? If you already have an existing plan, editing a product won’t change the terms on the Stripe side.

MemberSorry, but I don’t understand the relevance of that post or your reference to the ‘last update’. My issue has nothing to do with currencies, but rather with free trial period not working.

ModeratorLets say your subscription product (ID 2) was configured to charge $1.95/month and you did a Stripe transaction previously using that product.
Now you make the following changes to your product:
Free trial: 7 Day
Recurring: $1.95/month
When new customers subscribe they will still be charged $1.95/month because that plan already existed in your Stripe account.

MemberOK. Sorry, I thought you were suggesting this was a change-of-currency issue. If I create a new product by copying this one (which currently has a free trial) will that work?

KeymasterYes that should be fine. You need to create a new eStore product so it has a new ID. That way a NEW stripe subscription plan will be created (which will reflect the changes).
