HI
I moved my site directory one step up to the root directory (from MySite.com/blog/ to MySite.com). All links are updated. Pdf stamper works fine, eStore payments (buy-now) work fine only:
After PP payment is done, the automatic return to the website is directed to the old URL of the ‘Thank You’ page.
When taking the word “blog” out of the domain name in the address bar, the “thank you” page opens with the encrypted link to the stamped pdf document.
I did put the new return url into the product settings (Buy Now or Subscription Type Button Specific Settings) and into the PayPal Website Payment Preferences. I cleaned all browsers history and caches and I also used another ‘clean’ browser to test. I created a new product, but still the same problem occurs with the after the ‘change-of-directory’ created product.
WP eStore Version: 6.9.6.3
WP Version: 3.4.2
WPMU: No
MySQL Version: 5.1.59
WP Table Prefix: wp_
PHP Version: 5.2.17
The site is not open for visitors yet (using an ‘under construction’ plugin).
Before changing directory all payments and deliveries were working fine.
Do I have to delete eStore plugin, and reinstall it once again?
Do I have to deactivate – delete and reinstall the pdf sampler as well?
Thank you and I love your products.
December 24, 2012 at 6:18 pm #52607MayaKaliMemberHI, it’s me again, MayaKali.
I solved the problem by editing the return url in the wp-eStore database itself in the wp_wp_eStore_tbl table. I was not familiar with the control panel of my webhost and I thought they did not have phpMyAdmin as an installed service, so I had hoped to solve the problem with your help.
Anyway, it might still be interesting why the return url did not get updated.
Thanks anyway

I would recommend reloading fresh copy of the plugins:

Thanks. I did add a new product (new ID, same product), but eStore used still the old directory. It is funny that, after login into WordPress, it directs me also to the old (admin) directory. I just delete the name of the old directory in the address bar url, and the dashboard appears. Maybe I should look into this as well.
Anyway, I’m happy. I can change the return url in the database and that just takes a minute, so I’m fine.
Thanks
Cheers
