eStore Receipt Creator Not Sending To Client

Hello I am still tinkering around with many of features on the installation of the estore and affiliate plugin, but I am curious if there is a way to test the sales process all the way through without going live. If paypal is in sandbox mode, is there any way to complete an order? I would like to see the receipt plugin and the rest of the order process from the customers view before releasing the beast.

Also, does the receipt not get displayed to those who choose to pay manually?

You can use the manual checkout to do the testing. Use the 3rd option explained here and it will allow you to test a full purchase scenario:

Yes, you can test using PayPal sandbox too but some users find setting up PayPal sandbox account too bothersome. This post will be helpful for you:
