    Using:

    WordPress 3.8

    WP eStore 7.0.5

    Chrome 31.0.1650.57

    On OS X 10.9.1

Set product quantity limit to any number:

    1) When manually updating quantity in shopping cart counter, limit works fine.

    2) When adding units one by one by clicking on “Add to cart”, get error msg re: exceeded quantity when attempting to add 3rd unit, regardless of higher limit set, counter remains at 2.

Update: now manually updating quantity doesn’t work either, counter remains at 1 with error msg re: exceeded quantity for anything over 2.

When you say quantity limit, you mean the value of the “Quantity Limit Per Customer” field in the product right? What is your “Available Copies” counter value set to?

Have you previously purchased that item for testing?

    > When you say quantity limit, you mean the value of the “Quantity Limit Per Customer” field in the product right?

    Yes

    > What is your “Available Copies” counter value set to?

    it’s unlimited (blank)

    > Have you previously purchased that item for testing?

    Yes.

Update – logged out of wordpress & logged back in, and tested this for quantity limit values of 3, 5 and 10. Now:

    A) manually updating numeral in shopping cart field errors out for attempts to set past value ( [quantity limit per customer] minus 1 )

    B) incrementing by clicking on add to cart button results in errors out for attempts to increment past ( whatever the *previous* [quantity limit per customer] was set to minus 1) . Ex: set limit to 5, errored out after 2 (3-1). set limit to 10, errored out after 4 (5-1)

I zero out cart each time & refresh page.

Tried resetting all sales data and sale counter. Still produces same error.

Tried this with quantity limit per customer set at 3 at 5 and a 10.

Hi, there was a minor bug in the per customer quantity limit feature of the plugin that we just fixed. I sent you the update copy via email. Let me know if you don’t receive it.

I am having this issue with the quantity limit as well. The quantity limit is set to 5. I add 1 to the cart then at the checkout screen I try to update the quantity to 5 and it tells me that I have exceeded the purchase limit. How can I get the correction for the plugin?

Do the following and let me know if you still see the issue after that:

I have a product and I need to limit the Quantity to 3 per customer. However, it seems to be treating each variation as a different product. Is this correct?

No it shouldn’t do that. Can you explain the test you are doing so I can do that on your site and see the behavior?
