Apologies if this is a repeat post I had a browser glitch.
Our site uses the eStore and eMember plug-ins on WordPress. We are now getting download fails with either incomplete or 0 byte downloads.
The problem seems to lie with some plug-ins that we also want to use namely:
Wordpress Video Gallery from Apptha
Contact Form Builder from WebDorado
If either of these plug-ins is active then we get corrupt downloads.
Other plug-ins work
VideoWhisper Video Conference
WordPress Backup to Dropbox
We are using WordPress 4.3 and Theme 2014
Please can you offer any guidance how to use all of these plug-ins together.
Try hosting your downloads on Amazon S3. It is the same service used to host Netflix.
The first year is free, and most users report a monthly fee of less than 15 cents.
We are trying to avoid the use of such services, and had the downloads working correctly when we first set up the site.
We would like to find a solution rather than a work around.
The suggestion is not “a workaround,” as there are many benefits to offloading the download function to Amazon.
Since disabling *either* of the mentioned plugins make the problem “go away,” there might be some kind of installation conflict going on. Please try this, for both eStore and eMember:

Thanks I will wait till after Christmas before I do it.
This can also happen if those plugins you mentioned are causing our plugin to not close the session during downloads.
The following post has some suggestions that maybe helpful:
