MemberI am having trouble understanding how eStore communicates with paypal for recurring subscriptions. I have been approved to accept recurring payments with paypal. But the only information which I have entered in my settings to connect eStore with Paypal is my Paypal email address. I am using Wishlist Member.
What else needs to happen on the paypal side to give eStore the permission to activate recurring payments with paypal?
Doesn’t paypal need to verify eStore in some way?
WishList member has Paypal integration. But I am not sure what I need to do differently on their Paypal integration page. They have a step by step processes for putting a button on the site, but isn’t hat what eStore is for?
Please help.

KeymasterIt is quite easy to create a PayPal subscription using eStore. Please read this documentation which will tell you what to do (there is a video tutorial too):

MemberYes that looks very easy, but WishList Member has a video about how to set up a Paypal button for subscriptions, too. Do I just ignore that?
I have already taken the steps to integrate eStore with WLM. That, I think is fine. I am confused just by the steps that you offer in you link and these steps that they give.

KeymasterYes, please ignore their PayPal integration instruction as you are not doing that anymore.
Only use eStore’s instruction when you use eStore to create the membership payment button.

Memberif someone cancels he’s subscription, or he has problems with his paypal account and the payment doesnt come in – what happens with his membership?
does it automatically stops, or i have to do it manually?
and how do i know this happens?
thanks

KeymasterWhen the subscription is cancelled in PayPal (or the payment doesn’t go through), PayPal will notify the plugin and it will deactivate the user’s account. This process is automatic.
PayPal will send you an email telling you that a user cancelled the subscription agreement (when this happens).
