How would I go about setting up a payment where the customer has to pay a one off set-up fee, for example £50, then has to also pay the monthly fee of £25 on top of that but then on a monthly basis has to pay £25?

So basically I just need them to pay the one off fee as well as the first month fee in the first place but I can’t see any option to do that anywhere.

I did see this thread: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/estore-one-off-setup-fee-with-subscription

but that bills the customer for a 1 day trial (which could be used as the setup fee) and then bills them the next day for the months subscription, but I want both payments to come at the same time. Is this possible?

You can set the trial period for any number of days, months, or years; before the first “regular” recurring payment take place.

I don’t want a trial period though that’s the issue.

I sell on-line services and I have a set-up fee which needs to be paid at the same time as the first monthly payment, not the day after or any number of days after it needs to be at the same time.

So lets say for example my set-up fee is £50 and the monthly fee is £25 – I need a first payment of £75 in total in one go, then £25 monthly after this.

The term “Trial Period” is a legacy terminology. In today’s context, it really means “Initial Period.” So, you would set the cost of the “Trial Period” to £75 with a duration of 1 month. Then a recurring monthly cost of £25.

Ah yes sorry I misunderstood. You are absolutely correct, I have no idea why I didn’t think of that.

    Thank you for your help.
