Hi, I know forum is full of this kind of issues but I’ve tried everything, the check lists, installing the latest version of estore. The log file in debug mod is correctly working. (write permissions ok)
My Paypal settings are correct and checked again and again. IPN seems to work on a thank you page..
But I still don’t receive any email after a purchase. Except the two from paypal. One to customer and one to seller.
I use the free digital download with a squeeze form too and this one works. Email sent correctly and link is ok.
But for a paid digital product, I’m doing it with a thank you page. Ok, theyre is a download link and paypal send via IPN the transaction ID and sale detailsn price etc. So it seems to work. But no email sent to buyer nor to customer. I tried the two sending methods, WordPress and PHP script and both are working for a free digital download. But not for paid products via paypal.
I send my newsletters via wysija and mandrill. But I don’t think it’s related.
(Last detail : nothing in spam neither, I can send emails manually through the Admin Functions.)
I can provide wordpress username and password if you want to have a look.

August 16, 2013 at 11:33 pm #57206adminKeymasterI don’t see any IPN (The thank you page stuff is called PDT which is different than IPN) so I am pretty sure IPN is disabled on your PayPal account or there is another little issue with IPN. Please check step 4, 5 and 6 from the following post to resolve it:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/what-to-do-if-the-debug-file-is-empty
As soon as you can sort that out and we can see debug in the “ipn_handle_debug.log” file (this is the debug from PayPal IPN) you should be good.
August 17, 2013 at 7:47 pm #57207tiblitzMemberWell i’ve got a mail from Paypal, this is a translation of the original mail, in french.
IPN is activated and URL specified is my thank you page.
Hello,
Check the server managing the Instant Payment Notification (IPN) PayPal. IPN sent to the URL failed:
If you do not recognize this URL, you may use a service provider using the instant payment notification on your behalf do. Please contact your service provider and to provide the information above. If this problem persists, it is possible that the IPNs may be disabled for your account.
We appreciate the attention that you will bring to this issue.
thank you,
PayPal
August 17, 2013 at 8:15 pm #57208tiblitzMemberCuriously I receive the mail above from paypal at 7AM but Today, at 2.40PM I had a sale on another website of my wordpress network (wpmu).
The customer did not receive the download link (as always) so I sent his product manually.
Paypal specified URL for IPN is one of the 2 domains, but I understoud that estore handle this if I use only one Paypal account for two different domains. WP-estore is network activated.
August 17, 2013 at 8:24 pm #57209tiblitzMemberHere is the “ipn_handle_debug.log” after step 4, 5, 6.
Should I call my hosting provider ?

August 17, 2013 at 8:29 pm #57210tiblitzMemberAnd Paypal message after the Instant Payment Notification (IPN) simulator was :
[IPN sent successfully]
August 18, 2013 at 12:22 am #57211adminKeymasterWhen paypal sends the following email, it means they are having issues sending IPN to your server so that needs to be addressed.
Check the server managing the Instant Payment Notification (IPN) PayPal. IPN sent to the URL failed…..
Give your hosting provider a call and tell them that you are having issues with PayPal sending IPN to your server.
Are you with Godaddy hosting by any chance?
August 21, 2013 at 5:11 pm #57212tiblitzMemberHi again, no not with Godaddy but OVH.
I gave them a call yesterday and they said that everything’s alright on their side.
I deducted that the problem is not comming from Paypal as they detected the problem automatically and sent me the email above.
Could you try to sort it out ? I can’t find any solution. Really lost.
Sorry
August 21, 2013 at 11:56 pm #57213adminKeymasterI just checked it and it seems to be fixed now. The connectivity issue that I saw a few days ago is not there anymore (your hosting provider must have fixed it when you called them). So try a test transaction now please.
August 22, 2013 at 5:55 pm #57214tiblitzMemberCorrect, it’s fixed now. I’ll post here if I can find the issue coz i’m a bit frustrated not to understand why it start working again.
The strange thing is that when you told me to make a transaction i first tried a simulator IPN on Paypal developper.
Then I made a real transaction and it worked. So it’s a bit confusing. Before i open the issue and start using the IPN simulator I was processing real transaction, it was not working.
Actually I did just call my service provider who said : “everything’s alright sparky, don’t panic, bye bye”
Thank you for quick support at tipsandtricks. Your plugins are awesome.
August 22, 2013 at 11:08 pm #57215adminKeymasterWhen I told you to contact your hosting provider, there was a connectivity issue on your server. PayPal couldn’t send the IPN correctly to the site. You called them and after that when I tested it, the connectivity issue was gone. So I am pretty sure you provider fixed some configuration on the server when you called them.
August 26, 2013 at 9:10 am #57216tiblitzMemberGreat but I have another small issue on the second website using pdf stamper
Payment; Paypal redirection to the download (and thank you) page; then :
Fatal error:
The encoded file /homez.559/allergiev/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/lib/SetaPDF/Stamper/SetaPDF_Stamper.php is corrupt. in Unknown on line 0
I just delete and replace pdf stamper with a fresh version but still the same error. And no email sent. This is the second website of the network. The first one is working correctly now, sending emails as expected. But this second website combines with pdf stamper..
(I’m using the same paypal account for both website, so same IPN key, same merchant ID, same PDT Identity Token, and of course same settings than the first website)
Any idea ?
Thank you
