Hi,
I’m trying to integrate Mailchimp to eStore, but without success.
I’m a new user of mailchimp, so it’s possible that I did something wrong.
1) First, I create a list on mailchimp (3 fields: email address, first name and last name. Only email is required but all are visible)
2) I copied his name
3) I asked for an API key on mailchimp
4) I copied it
5) On eStore, I’ve check the 2 first options (enable and global)
6) Pasted the list name
7) Pasted API key
That’s all.
If I understood well, if someone order something from my website, his email address (the one he specified on paypal) will be automatically added to the list I’ve created on Mailchimp. Is that correct ?
But after my test, no new subscriber…
Thanks in advance!
Sylvain
P.S: Sorry for my english…

There is likely a setup issue somewhere which is preventing it from working correctly. Lets do the following which will reveal the setup issue.
Pleasae do the following 4 steps:
You can do the 5th step yourself or share the link of the test page and we can take a look. That will reveal where things are not connecting.

For Squeeze form debug, the page is blank.
As I can see, everthing seems to work perfectly… but my list on Mailchimp remains with 0 subscribers.
Maybe it’s because I open my account with the email address that I use for paypal (the account that I use for my tests).
Regards
Sylvain

I’ve received a confirmation to subscribe.
Ok, one more question, if I use “do not send welcome email”, the customer will be added to my mailing list without receiving this confirmation email from MailChimp ?
April 9, 2016 at 2:59 am #72974adminKeymasterRemember, the subscriber usually doesn’t show up unless they confirm. So if you use dummy emails, your testing is going to be flawed and it won’t work the way you expect it to work.
You can disable the double opt-in option if you want them to be signed up without any confirmation (Using double opt-in is the better practice).
The user will always receive a signup confirmation when they are added via API. That “do not send welcome email” option is for starting the autoresponder the sequence (mailchimp has an option for this).
