Tagged: Language
I tried to change the “continue shopping” link in my english language file to use an image – using the format I found here on the forum:
define(“ESTORE_CONTINUE_SHOPPING”, ‘<img src=”http://www.example.com/your-continue-shopping-image-url” alt=”Continue Shopping” />’);
But that sent up an error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/smp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/languages/eng.php on line 25
And now, even when I change the file back to the original language file – I still get the same error.
What should I do?
I suspect your editing may have unbalanced “something else” in the file. If you don’t have a backup copy of the original language file; try extracting the original plugin files to another directory ***OUTSIDE*** the WP plugin directory, and then copy the original language file over the one you edited. But before you restore the file, you may want to do a file comparison, just to see what the problem was.
The best way to blow out your code changes is to load a fresh copy of the plugin using the following instructions:
