MemberHi,
I’ve searched the forum for answers and have at least determined that it is a jQuery conflict between eStore and the theme. This a client site and contacting the theme developer resulted in simply “our theme doesn’t cause problems.” Not exactly helpful (or likely true in this case.)
I have an updated version of eStore installed. When it is disabled, the slider on the home page works fine. When it is enabled, it doesn’t display at all. I tried disabling the “fancy images” button, but that didn’t change anything.
Here’s a link to the site: [http://iflourishconsulting.com/]
eStore is disabled.
Any help you can provide for how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. If it wasn’t a client site, I’d just switch themes (I’m building her new site and it WILL NOT be with this theme).

MemberCan you please activate eStore so we can investigate via firebug the type of javascript error displayed?

KeymasterThat theme has bad javascript code with errors so you will continue to see issues with other plugins using javascript. So the only way around is to get the theme developer to fix his mistake.
You could also try turning off/unchecking the following estore options to see if that helps (the following will turn off most of eStore’s javascript):
– Enable Lightbox effect on Images
– Enable Fancy Redirection On Checkout

MemberI don’t have either of those options enabled so it looks like that leave choosing between the theme or eStore.
It seems like there are a lot of theme developers who don’t write good code. This is why I use one theme almost exclusively for my client’s websites – I know the code is good and doesn’t cause conflicts like this. Plus, their customer support is awesome (much like yours).
Thanks for your help.
