eStore – invalid product currency: USD

First of all, let me say that eStore was working perfectly, however a customer has just brought this to my attention and when I test it myself I get the same result.

I am selling a digital download. You can process it all the way through Paypal – payment shows up in my Paypal account. (price listed as USD – paypal converts it to GBP for me). The ‘thank you’ page that is returned to the customer shows everything I want it to say AND:

“invalid product currency: USD”

No email with download link followed. That seems to be the end of the proceses although it is not. Let me re-emphasise – this all used to work perfectly!

What has happened now?

When “this all used to work perfectly,” was it without any currency conversions by PayPal? Or does this problem only occur when conversions are required?

Are they paying you in USD on PayPal?

Thank you – Paypal was not set up to accept USD even though the payment went through OK! I have changed the Paypal settings and it works fine now.
