Hello,
I am testing out a digital product I want to sell on my site. I listed the product at $.10 so I can purchase it and make sure everything (including the PDF stamper) worked as expected.
I purchased the product and in the account I used to make the purchase, it said everything was fine. How ever, my product was never delivered.
In the account I used to receive the funds, I received 2 emails. The first told me:
The post payment verification for a payment failed. This could happen for
one of two reasons:
1. The fund for the payment have not been cleared yet (no need to do
anything as the digital product will be delivered once the fund clears).
2. Someone maybe trying to scam a purchase! (no worries… WP eStore got
your back
Failure reason
Here are some more details for the exact cause of this transaction
failure…
Invalid Product Currency Used: USD
The second email i received came from Paypal and it told me that the payment was received.
Can someone look in this? Th site where my product is located is

October 13, 2010 at 12:13 am #25357IvyMemberHi, Do you have the currency in the eStore settings as USD? When you made your purchase was this also in USD? Example: If you make a purchase in AU and you have your eStore set as USD then you will get this error.
Make sure the Currency code is set to the value that you are allowed to accept in your PayPal account. Also check to make sure that there is no space at the end of the “USD” word.
October 14, 2010 at 8:51 pm #25358upyourattractionMemberEverything is in USD, and there is no space.
October 14, 2010 at 8:56 pm #25359upyourattractionMemberI tried again, and now there is a new problem. The payment goes through correctly, but when I click on the link to download my digital product, the link tell me “Requested File Could Not Be Found”. I double checked all the links, and everything looks to be set up properly.
October 14, 2010 at 9:30 pm #25360wzpModeratorUnder eStore -> Settings -> Addon Settings -> WP eStore Download Manager Related is a checkbox labeled “Automatically Convert to Relative URL.” If it is unchecked, check it. If it is checked, uncheck it. Then save the settings and try again.
Does this change anything?
Also, what did you enter for the product’s URL?
October 15, 2010 at 5:52 pm #25361upyourattractionMemberI unchecked that box.

I tried opening that directory in my browser and it asked for a user name and password. I entered my admin info, but it didn’t allow me in.
October 15, 2010 at 11:41 pm #25362wzpModeratorLook for and remove any “.htaccess” files from that directory.
October 16, 2010 at 4:54 pm #25363upyourattractionMemberI removed the .htaccess file and it’s still no good. I don’t get prompted for my name and password anymore, but I also can’t see the directories in my browser. I try to load them and it all just looks blank.
October 17, 2010 at 12:26 am #25364amin007ParticipantThere is a blank “index.html” in that directory to prevent anyone from browsing that directory. Please remove that file too if you want to browse that directory from the browser.
October 17, 2010 at 4:30 am #25365upyourattractionMemberI’ve removed the index.html file so I could confirm the location of the file, verified it in the WP-eStore setting, and it still tells me that the “request file cannot be found”. What could possibly be going wrong now?
Also, is it possible to have two items line up side by side instead of one on top of the other?
October 17, 2010 at 10:15 am #25366wzpModeratorPlease try this… first, upgrade to the latest version (4.5.2 or higher) of eStore:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/automatic-update-request
Since your download files are in eStore’s “downloads” directory, be careful that you upgrade by replacing your existing eStore files (use upgrade method “A”) as per the upgrade instructions:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wordpress-estore-installation-and-usage-guide-31
You have to “re-delete” the “.htaccess” file from the “downloads” directory along with that empty “index.html” file (they got restored during the upgrade).
Reactivate eStore.
Under WP eStore -> Settings -> General Settings -> Enable Debug, check the box and save the settings.
Try your download.
In the eStore plugin directory look for a “download_manager.log” file.
What dows it say?
October 17, 2010 at 4:48 pm #25367upyourattractionMemberI did the request for the newer version of WP eStore but it only gave me download links for PDF stamper and the affiliate software. How can I get the new eStore plug in?
October 17, 2010 at 8:43 pm #25368wzpModeratorDid you use the transaction ID associated with your eStore purchase?
October 17, 2010 at 9:15 pm #25369upyourattractionMemberI searched and cannot find the transaction ID. But if you check my records, you can see that I have purchased eStore, eMember, Affiliate and PDF Stamper. I’ve been a loyal customer of yours, and would really like to get this sorted out soon, because without it, I cannot sell my products to new customers.
Thank you
