In the past week, I’ve been receiving multiple “Notification of product sale” emails when anyone purchases one of my products.
In one case I received 16 “notification of product sale” emails for the one transaction over a period of four days.
I have confirmed with four of the purchasers that they only purchased the product in question once.
Any idea why this occurring and how to stop it? It’s continually spamming my email.

The plugin never sends multiple emails. This issue has more to do with server setup/config. Please read the following post and you will see more related info:

Also, enable the debug option in the plugin so we can confirm that the plugin is indeed executing the email sending code once per transaction. The following post will help you enable debug:
