I have a store where customers can pay via PayPal or manual payment. The manual payment is for people mailing in a check or emailing a purchase order number. One product is a PDF they can purchase. I also have PDF Stamper to make that document as secure as possible. I tried the order via PayPal and it worked great– I received the email with the encrypted link to the stamped PDF. I am not sure what to do with manual orders for the PDF, though. I want to wait until the check or PO clears and then email the customer the encrypted link to the PDF. Do I use PDF Stamper to make a manually stamped file? If so, how do I then get an encrypted link to it to email to the customer?

Note: There is an option to instantly send out the links after the order has been submitted (check the options under the manual checkout settings section). However it does not take into account if the payment has cleared or not. The plugin has no way to verify a manual/offline payment.

That is the way to give the customer a gift before he paid for the product. That option is not good.

Why is no way?
In other shops with download option is used the status UNPAID or PAID to verify the payment. It’s logic and easy.
If the check or transfer is ok, I set the status to PAID only and the plugin can do the work and deliver the files to the customer and stamp it with the customers data from the order.
Why so complicated, Guys?
I’m very disappointed about this after I purchase all your plugins and now I can’t use the manual payment without a lot of work to stamp and deliver manually.
I hope you have another solution!

That’s what I need. Thank you very much. My weekend will be better now.
Why do you make all these good features in addons? It’s difficult to find all the features!
Thank you again and sorry …
Regards
Andy
March 23, 2013 at 3:41 pm #50548wzpModeratorAddons reinforce good coding practices, by compartmentalizing related functionality into their own modules. It also allows you to add in the big features on your site only if you need/want it (anyone who is not using that feature doesn’t have to worry about it). They also ensure that users are properly licensed, via the cross-check that is performed when you download the addons.
