Tagged: payment plan, subscription, subscription button
I’m selling a course and people will be able to pay in full or pay in payments and I’m having trouble setting up the payment plan product. I think I am supposed to use a subscription button for this, right? Do I set the price to be the amount of payment 1? There are 3 payments of $397 so do I set the price at $397 with 2 recurring billing counts?
Also, if I can’t add a subscription product like this to the cart, how can I offer a coupon code with it? I have an early bird coupon code that I’d like to make available for both the pay in full and payment plan customers.
Make a separate product for the subscription plan:
Leave the trial section empty. Use $397 in the “Recurring Billing Amount” field. and 3 in the “Recurring Billing Count” field.
The following addon lets you use discount on subscription:

On your sales/landing page, you will have two buttons (one time purchase and payment plan). The customers can chose the one they want to use.
Can I just link the buttons to the checkout page with the item in the cart? I read something about subscription items not being able to go through the checkout
I see how to create a subscription button but I’d like to be able to have a link that does the same thing. How can I do that?
Yeah, you can use a link too. Check the following documentation:
