eStore / eMember – Coupon for one year Free Membership

I have an eMember Membership of one year with a minimum suggested donation of 29.00 (not reoccurring). My client wants to send out a coupon code to 2000 women for one year free to this membership level.

I have the coupon code created and tied to the Membership Product in eStore. I have enabled Manual Checkout and force it when the balance is $0. That all works fine. I even get the custom manual checkout email.

What I don’t get is Membership Emails. I also see no record of the “sale” under Customers.

What steps am I missing?

Got it working…

Just so anyone else is looking for the same answer. I have the following checked under Manual Checkout found under Payment Gateway Settings in eStore

Use Manual Payment Option

Do Not Add Shipping Charge

Automatically Update Customer & Products Database
