I’m using the squeeze form to offer several different free tools & kits. However, when I test them, there’s *no* link in the email.

I have the email configured like this:

    Dear {first_name} {last_name}:

    Here is your download link:

    {product_link}

    Thanks!

I’ve also tried using the “{product_link_digital_items_only}” but it has the same issue. All that comes in the email is:

    Dear Kim:

    Here is your download link:

    Thanks!

Each item has a working downloadable content URL. What else could it be?

    Thanks.

    Kim

    1. Can you manually generate a download link, using the Admin Functions?

    2. The email body you configured is the one under:

WP eStore –> Settings –> Email Settings –> Squeeze Form Email Body

    1. When I try to manually generate a link, it just spits out the product name. There is no working link.

    2. Yes, that’s where it’s configured at (like in my original post above)

Please check the Digital Product URL entry for the product; to ensure it is valid.

It’s a valid URL. It works when I copy/paste it into a new window. It’s been uploaded to my site through WordPress media.

@proteanwriter, Please install a fresh copy of the eStore plugin and see how it goes.

Also, check your eStore plugin settings and DISABLE the URL shortener feature (if you have it enabled). Then do a test.

I’ve requested a new copy of the eStore plugin. In the meantime, disabling the URL shortener has worked. Thanks.
