Hi,
everithing working fine. Thanks for that. But I have a problem with the download links.
I have one digital product, with a Digital Product Variation. The product is a ebook and the variations are the language (English, French and Spanish).
In “Digital Product URL” I type: “http://www.mysite.com/wp-conten/uploads/ENGLISH-VERSION1.pdf” and Downloadable checked.
In “Digital Product Variation” I type: “Language|English::http://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/ENGLISH-VERSION1.pdf|Français::http://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/FRENCH-VERSION1.pdf|Español::http://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/SPANISH-VERSION1.pdf”
In the “Buyer Email Body” I place the {product_link} code.
In the “Thank you” page I place the [wp_eStore_display_transaction_result] code.
But, when I testing to buy, in the email I got, no download links and in the Thank you page I got, no download links neither.
If instead I create 3 differents Digital Products (English, French and Spanish), and I leave blank “Digital Product Variation” then everything working fine and I have de download links.
what am i doing wrong?
Thank you for your help.
July 24, 2012 at 3:47 am #47692wzpModeratorDigital Variation Variation Download Link Not Visible (generating)
Please ensure the digital variation field does not contain spaces or other non printable characters.
If the above doesn’t help then run a test transaction with debug option enabled then share the content of the debug file so we can see what exactly is going wrong:

July 24, 2012 at 3:03 pm #47693JoseMemberThere are no whitespaces or invisible (including newline) characters in the variation field entry.
I run a test transaction with debug option enabled and I look the debug files:
-ipn_handle_debug.log
All “SUCCESS”.
-eStore_post_payment_debug.log
blank (there is nothing in the file)
-subscription_handle_debug.log, squeeze_form_debug.log and download_manager_debug.log
All “Advisory: Log file reset”.
Is this correct?
Thanks.
July 24, 2012 at 3:14 pm #47694JoseMemberIn the ipn_handle_debug.log I can see something like this:
…
SUCCESS :Connection to http://www.paypal.com successfuly completed.
SUCCESS :IPN successfully verified.
SUCCESS :Creating product Information to send.
SUCCESS :Transaction Type: Shopping Cart
SUCCESS :Number of Cart Items: 1
SUCCESS :Item Number: 1
SUCCESS :Item Name: THE TATTOOLITOS. CHAPTER 1. (Français)
SUCCESS :Item Quantity: 1
SUCCESS :Item Price: 0.01
SUCCESS :Item Shipping: 0.00
SUCCESS :Item Currency: USD
SUCCESS :Download Link :
Thanks.
July 24, 2012 at 3:17 pm #47695wzpModeratorLet’s try something more basic…
eStore –> Admin Functions
Try generating links for each of your product variations and see if it creates a link for each one.
July 24, 2012 at 3:28 pm #47696JoseMemberYes, if I enter the digital product variation name then I have an encrypted download link then it works fine.
July 24, 2012 at 3:55 pm #47697wzpModeratorOkay, so if you are able to use the Admin Functions to create links for each variation; it means there is nothing wrong with the contents of the digital variation field.
In the above IPN log, did you redact the entry that says “SUCCESS :Download Link :” or was the rest of the line really blank?
July 24, 2012 at 4:03 pm #47698JoseMemberThe rest of the line really blank.
July 24, 2012 at 4:05 pm #47699wzpModeratorThat may be something for @Admin has to investigate, when he gets in today; in about 7 hours (GMT +10).
July 24, 2012 at 4:07 pm #47700JoseMemberOk, Thank you so much.
