Hello,
i’m creating my website with Emember and eStore, but my subscription button doesn’t work.
http://produciconnoi.altervista.org/blog/join-us/
The red one, doesn’t work, if you press it, it doesn’t proceed with paypal… what could be the problem? I’ve configured as seen in the videos but it doesn’t work.

July 7, 2012 at 12:16 am #47025IvyMemberLooks like your shortcode is wrapped inside paragraph tags which is making the button inactive. Please do the following:
1) Edit your “Join Us” page in WordPress
2) Go to the HTML view
3) Make sure there is no hidden HTML tags like (
<p>
) around the eStore shortcode that you are using.4) Save the page then try again.
Also take note of the following:
1. It looks like there are some cascading errors on your site that maybe causing this issue. You can see these here:
2. Can you please do the following:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
3. Also try loading a fresh build of the plugin:

July 7, 2012 at 7:35 am #47026luca_and_friendsMemberDisabled all plugs – No results
Switch to the original theme – No results
there are no <p> tags near the button in html section..
seems like there are some bugs in your software. How can I resolve the problem?
Thanks
July 7, 2012 at 7:58 am #47027luca_and_friendsMemberI’ve also checked with w3c using the original wp themes but it gives me [invalid] the same.. what themes do you suggest me?
Thanks
July 7, 2012 at 8:49 am #47028PeterMemberHi,
Which shortcode are you using?
Did you deactivate ALL plugins except the Tips and Tricks plugins? I can see that you have some kind of custom menu bar at the top of the page. Is this a plugin? If so can you please deactivate and try again?
Then if you are still having problems……
Can you please download a fresh version of the eStore plugin as per this link:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Then after doing the above can you please create a new dummy test post and paste the following shortcode and then publish the post:
[wp_eStore_subscribe:product_id:1:end]
After you’ve done this can you send us the link to the test page/post?

July 7, 2012 at 5:06 pm #47031moncMemberHello…
It appears that I may be experiencing the same issue.
Here’s a link to my test page:
http://cmona.com/test-product/
I’m able to add to the cart but the “Buy Now” button doesn’t go anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
July 7, 2012 at 5:25 pm #47032luca_and_friendsMembermonc.. you have the same problem so… i think it’s a bug of the software if more people have the same problem.. Hope that they’ll solve it!
July 7, 2012 at 5:55 pm #47033moncMemberI was looking at the source code of the demo site vs the one on my page and mine appears to be missing the following code that is wrapped around the button image:
The shopping cart on the demo site (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wordpress-estore-plugin-demo-175) has a hyperlink (a href) tag around the button.
I think this might solve the problem.
Unfortunately I’m not savvy enough to figure out how to get it on the cart… bummer
Anyone know how to do this?
July 7, 2012 at 5:57 pm #47034moncMemberJuly 8, 2012 at 12:17 am #47035adminKeymasterWOW! Guys cool down We will investigate it and see what is going on. Please allow us some time to investigate it first.
@monc, To me it looks like you didn’t watch the video for creating a product? Anyway, please respond my following questions so I can see where you are:
1) A link to the page where you have placed the shortcode for subscription button. The link you shared only has an add to cart button.
2) What shortcode are you using to place the subscription button?
3) Have you watched the video tutorial for creating a subscription button?
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/how-to-add-a-subscription-button-for-recurring-payment-400
@luca_and_friends, Try using this plugin to remove the automatic paragraphs that are getting inserted when the page renders:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ps-disable-auto-formatting/
I have also sent an email to you to get site access so I can see what is causing the behavior that you are observing and then I will give you an update.
July 8, 2012 at 8:15 am #47036luca_and_friendsMemberInstalled the new plug which you told me and it doesn’t work the same.. I’ve ompiled the form for getting site access.
Thanks
