Tagged: available quantity, sales count
Hi there, my website is Halfler.com and I’m having problems with inventory control. I have a product [http://halfler.com/cheap-lenovo-laptops/lenovo-thinkpad-x60/] that had, at first, 3 copies/units but after selling all 3, I updated sales count to 3 (manually thru so I should have no more copies/units left.
However, right now, it shows that I still have 3 available units and they can still order.
Hello Francis did you enter a quantity number for the product in the following field?
WP eStore >> Add/Edit Products >> Inventory control >> Available Copies
Yes I have, I’ve entered 3 Available Copies and 3 on Sales Count so that should say that it’s out of stock right? But it’s still showing me 3 available quantity
What version of the plugin are you using? Can you please try loading a fresh copy of the plugin?

I actually just installed it not too long ago. it was a fresh install.
I also tried downloading the latest copy and update my plugin (even though it’s already at 7.0.0) it still doesn’t work and it still shows 3 available qty.
I will take a look at you site. I have sent you an email.
It turns you that you misunderstood what the “available copies” field value means. The number you have there is how many you have in stock right now. The sales count is how many you have sold so far. If you want to make that item out of stock then set the available copy counter to 0 (meaning you have 0 available at the moment).
