Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP Affiliate Platform › Affiliate sign up Image Verification Input error: k: Format of site key invalid
When attempting sign up of an affiliate (for us to test) the image verification area on the bottom brings up this message:
Input error: k: Format of site key was invalid
I’m assuming this is referring to an error with wp-recapcha, but I am
entering the correct public and private keys.
Hoping to get help! SO close to being able to move forward with this!!!
Thanks!
I quickly Googled this and came up with 3 possible reasons for this error.
1. The copy and paste of the keys was not done correctly and there are white spaces. Make sure there are no spaces before or after the keys
2. They keys where not put in the right place.
3. This website will explain the 3rd issue that can be happening. It has to do with the setup of the account and keys.

I’having the same issue as of today. Might it be a 3.5 compatibility issue? I am not copying and pasting anything
No, this shouldn’t be a 3.5 compatibility issue. Usually this error has something to do with the captcha keys not working correctly. Please do the following:
Load a fresh copy of the affiliate plugin:

Then create new keys from your reCAPTCHA account and use the new ones in the settings of the plugin.
