eStore: Just purchased, downloaded, uploaded to my WP site. No problem. When I tried to Activate, was unable to & error stated:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /usr/local/4admin/apache/vhosts/hchltd.com/addon/basenjinationalspecialty.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/eStore_utility_functions.php on line 683
Site Hosting PHP Version: 5.2.17, MySQL Version: 5.1.54 PHP Safe Mode OFF
Am able to reconfigure PHP settings if need be, but not sure which needs to be changed. Safe mode on PHP is now on. Web host is Webmasters.com Pretty basic, Apache server.
The error points to the following: eStore_utility_functions.php on line 683 & copied below:
683 $reCaptcha = new ReCaptchaReCaptcha($secret);
I did have reCaptcha active on my site, used with Contact 7 form builder. De-activated it & tried to Activate eStore & no go.
Don’t know what else to try. Checked plug ins that don’t play nice – I’m good. So what can I do to fix this so I can activate eStore? Reallly looking forward to using your plugin! Thanks!
Please try downloading and installing a fresh copy of the plugin:

Hi wzp. Did as you asked, same error message. Still no activation.
You know, it’s a Sunday & appreciate your quick reply but please, this will hold until regular business hours. Go have a great day!
Your server is using a VERY old version of PHP (its just too outdated). Please request your hosting provider to use more recent version of PHP on your server then you won’t see the issue.
Your hosting provider can upgrade the PHP on your server very easily to something like PHP5.4 or PHP7. So please request them to do that.
PHP safe mode has been removed from PHP5.4 so you don’t need to worry about that after you upgrade.
Thanks so much. Was afraid that was the issue.
