Kit
MemberI have a PayPal Pro account.
I added a product and on a page included the code for a subscription. When I test it out, I get a PayPal error message that says “…invalid link….please review link.” Any idea what link they are talking about or what’s going wrong?
Thanks!

ParticipantPlease post a link to the page where you have the button so I can check it out. Also, please try the same button after you have specified the live PayPal in your settings just to see if you get the same error or not.

MemberOk, it works when not in sandbox mode, and when live, but still not doing what I want it to do. the link to the page is – http://authoragency.com/author-agency-membership-list/.
After successfully signup for the 1year free trial, there is no user account with correct user role setup in WP. Am I missing something?

MemberOk, so I try to redirect end user to the member signup page that I would like, and the following message is showing – Free membership is disabled on this site!
Please visit the Payment Page to pay for a membership. Even though I just paid for a membership. Please help

MemberHi, Do you have this option turned on? or Do you have a membership ID specified and this option turned off?
Allow Free Membership:
If you want to allow free membership on your site then check this box and specify the free Membership Level ID below. Visitors can register for a free membership by visiting the registration page.
What version of the eMember are you using?
Let me know how it goes
Cheers,
Ivy

MemberHi,
I have the “Allow Free Membership” setting turned off in the emember settings area. I do not have a membership ID specified.
I would like to allow free membership for my first level members, which is not controlled by emembers plugin. My 2nd level of membership is controlled by emember, and after a 1 year trial I would like to charge these members monthly.
I am using eMember v5.2.3.
If the 2nd level has a 12 month trial period, do I have to specify free membership for them?
thanks

MemberHi, We will need to take a look at how the membership is setup. I will send you an email with the site access request form. Please fill this form out so we can troubleshoot this a little more.
Cheers,
Ivy

MemberThis error can be caused by an incorrect API username, an incorrect API password, or an invalid API signature. Make sure that all three of these values are correct. For your security, PayPal does not report exactly which of these three values might be in error.
