I’m getting an error while uploading images to the emember profile
“Error Occurred.Check file size.”
The file I’m uploading is less than 1mb. I only get the error while on the “Add/Edit Member” page.
I can’t upload an image while logged in as a member while on the profile edit page either.
I have enabled the Twenty-Ten them and disabled all plugins for testing purposes but it still dosen’t work.
What else can I try?
August 12, 2012 at 12:43 am #48298adminKeymasterWhat version of eMember are you using? What is your file upload limit on this server? What is the exact size of the image that you are trying to upload?

August 13, 2012 at 2:02 am #48300nurMemberHi vmseven, Can you check if the uploads directory is writable or not? The “wp-content/uploads/emember” directory needs to be writable.
Also please try uploading this image to your WordPress site using the WordPress’s media uploader and tell us if you see an error with the upload.
August 14, 2012 at 3:55 am #48301ReggieMemberI upload stuff on the site via wp media uploader all the time. That file uploads via wp media uploader as well.
I assume wp eMember uses a different directory for uploads. What is the directory it uses so I can check to see if it’s writeable?
August 14, 2012 at 5:13 am #48302adminKeymastereMember uploads the profile images in the following directory:

August 14, 2012 at 5:41 am #48303ReggieMemberI set that folder to 777 and it still don’t work

August 15, 2012 at 12:05 am #48305adminKeymasterI don’t see this error on my test server. Can you please load a fresh build of the plugin:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Also please post a link to your edit profile page. Did you do this test to make sure those errors are not coming from another plugin or theme?

August 27, 2012 at 5:49 am #48306ReggieMemberI’ve loaded a fresh build and get the same result.

August 28, 2012 at 2:24 am #48307adminKeymasterI sent you an email to get access to the site so I can check it out.
August 29, 2012 at 2:34 am #48308adminKeymasterI just loaded a fresh copy of the eMember plugin on your site now and the profile image upload seems to be working fine for me.
