Encrypted links not working

The encrypted links that the store is generating do not work. I have tested the direct location as a download and they all work fine. I go into the admin panel and generate an encrypted link and they do not work. I am pointing to .zip files

This is an example link that is generated by the store:

and the subsequent error message that the user gets when trying to download the file:

Firefox can’t find the file at [http://www.bvimusic.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=2BOa/CsCUfGRhKXr]

* Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.

* Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

Can someone please make a suggestion as to how to fix this?

I would like to add that if I directly input the file location that I am using, the files download with no issues. So the problem is definitely that the encryption links are messing something up (I think).

I fixed this problem – i had the download checkbox clicked – and when I unclicked it and updated the products, the encrypted link now works fine. This checklist helped me:

Hi there,

I installed the WP-Stamper plug in. I set up the manual stamping. I also integrated the paypal and inserted a paypal button. But I have a problem. The payment goes through but I never get the attachment PDF file… I tested it many times and I also checked the codes and everything looks right…

Encryption is broken. Works when doing a manual stamping, but does not complete when stamping after a paypal purchase. The stamped fileis generated, but the encrypted file is only partially created and the new file does not end up in the stamped files list in wordpress.

Encryption off, the stamped file successfully shows up on the stamped file list when using paypal, but the email is not sent. Using email WP Mail Log plugin to log all the email send requests, it doesn’t appear the call to send email is ever made.

This thread is for WP eStore plugin. You are having in issue with the PDF stamper so please post your issue in that forum category so it doesn’t get mixed.

With that said, Keep PDF encryption settings off for now (most likely you server is not able to handle this). Lets work on the first issue which is email not going out.
