Membera) What part of the product isn’t working?
eMember seems to be preventing wpMandrill from using wp_mail
b) What are you trying to achieve?
I want to be able to use wpMandrill (transactional email) for wp email. The wp dashboard says “wp_mail has been declared by another process or plugin, so you won’t be able to use Mandrill until the problem is solved.” When I deactivate emember, this message goes away. Therefore it looks like emember has declared wp_mail.
c) What causes the error to show up?
When I activate the wpMandrill plugin, the error message appears.
When I deactivate other plugins (except eMember), the error message stays there.
When I deactivate eMember, the error message goes away.
However, I need to keep eMember activated.
d) What version of the plugin are you using?
I am using Version v8.6.4
e) Provide a link to the exact page where the problem is seen
It’s on my WP dashboard. You won’t be able to see that.
f) Which product you are using (example: eStore, WP Affiliate Platform, eMember, PDF Stamper etc…)?
eMember
g) Did you modify the plugin code?
No, I did not modify the plugin code
Is there a way I can give Mandrill wp_mail without messing up emember?
I want to use a contest/giveaway to increase my subscriber list, and it’s (hopefully) going to be generating a lot of wp_mail. I want Mandrill in place so that this happens without issues. But I’m unable to proceed because Mandrill is being blocked from using wp_mail by eMember.
The contest is scheduled to go live on November 24th.
Thanks,
Teresa

KeymasterHi Teresa, We definitely do not declare the “wp_mail” function in the plugin. The plugin uses that function to send the email. I would recommend you do the following first (just in case):
