I was doing some testing on a site I am setting up and ran into the following error…
I have a user whose account had expired. I have eMember set up to keep the member and WP user (and I did not manually delete them either). I joined again using this same user. When I did, I was redirected to a page that does not exist on my site.
Here are some other notes so you know everything that is going on.
1.) I am also using eStore to pay for the memberships (if that matters).
2.) The page that it is trying to redirect to was a valid page on the site at one time. I changed the name (and the URL) of that page though.
3.) I may have had the “Redirect After Registration” set to the page that it is trying to go to at one time. (I don’t remember – to be honest.) But it doesn’t seem logical that I would have sent the user to the page it is trying to go to.
4.) I have not tried joining with a user that does not currently exist (to see if I get sent to the same page). I can try this if you like.
5.) The “Redirect After Registration” is currently not set to anything.
April 9, 2012 at 11:27 pm #43919PeterMemberHi,
Are you currently using some sort of caching plugin?
If so, can you try clearing your browser cache or deactivating the caching plugin.

Ok so you possibly had the page configured in the “Redirect After Registration” field at one time and then may have removed it.
Have you upgraded the eMember plugin any time?
Sometimes if you don’t deactivate and reactivate the plugin during an upgrade you can get the DB tables columns out of sync.
Anyway, can you please try loading a fresh and latest version of eMember by following the instructions here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Then try again and see if this fixes it.

It was a mistake on my part. It is because I am using eStore & eMember together. I was not being directed to this page from eMember. I was being directed to this page from eStore – at the completion of paying for this product (that was for a membership). I had changed this page and the wrong URL was still coded on the product corresponding to this membership level.
