eMember – plugin prevents comment editing

Hi there,

By deactivating all plugins and then reactivating them one by one, I have found that it is eMember that is causing me a small problem.

When i try to edit a comment that has already been posted, I can access the comment through the dashboard, edit it, but then when i try to update it i get a “Comments not allowed” message. This happens with both ‘edit’ and ‘quick edit’ options.

I have version v7.8.4.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Are you using the WP User integration feature of eMember?

Lets try loading a fresh build of the plugin first. Please do what the following post suggests and let me know if you see any difference:

Thanks for the advice – I’ve installed a fresh version but the problem still remains. In reply to your question, I’m not integrating WordPress users with wp emember (or vice versa).

What can I try next?
