eMember php error when activating in Multisite

I need to migrate a WP site to a multisite, but when trying to activate the wp emember plugin, I get the following error messages:

Warning: include_once(/homepages/30/d483942204/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/emember_custom_feed.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /homepages/30/d483942204/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/wp_eMember1.php on line 48

Warning: include_once(): Failed opening ’emember_custom_feed.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php5.4′) in /homepages/30/d483942204/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/wp_eMember1.php on line 48

I used FTP to upload the plugin from the previous site.

I’m using WP 3.9 and eMember 8.7.9.

Could you let me know what’s going on and how to fix it?

I just downloaded the latest eMember zip – Version v8.8.5

Perhaps updating your emember plugin may help?

Did you try doing the following?
