eMember – membership levels not saving

Hi there,

Using emember version v8.5.4

Latest version of WordPress

Genesis framework with Prose theme

Problem: none of the members membership levels are being saved. Well, a couple of times today they have but when I login again they disappear meaning no login is possible just the ‘don’t have permission to access’ message.

I have uninstalled all plugins — didn’t solve.

Clean install of wpemember — didn’t solve.

Plugins being used: wpestore, genesis simple sidebars, genesis simple edits, tinymce advanced, akismet.

Same problem on all browsers, even after clearing cache.

Hi, After looking at your membership join us page it appears that you are offering paid memberships using eStore. Therefore we’ll need to look at the eStore debug to see what’s going on. Can you please enable debug as per the following link:

Once you have enabled debug can you please perform a test membership purchase and then share the output of the following files:

– ipn_handle_debug.log

– eStore_post_payment_debug.log

– subscription_handle_debug.log

In addition, can you please try adding a member manually from the admin panel and see what happens? Are you able to add the member successfully?

I deleted estore and made payment through emember and paypal.

I ran two test purchases — both held for a while. But logged in today and I see they have disappeared again.

They save if I go in and edit the member and hit save — but I’m not sure how long they are holding for.

Some peeps are finding the sales page now and signing up — so would it be easier if I just gave you login to go and have a nosey.

Can you please do a fresh install of the plugin before we dig into this issue?

The fresh install has been done.

All members levels disappeared … one was holding on for a bit longer, but it dropped at install.

This is a very strange behavior. What changes did you make on your site before this started happening?

I also sent you an email to get access to the site so I can check some settings.
