Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › WP eMember Troubleshooting › emember – members must login for each protected page after HTTPS change
Tagged: https
Our logged in members are having to login each time they visit a protected page. So they initially login, then for each protected page they go to they have to login again.
This started about a week ago.
If it helps, we use an SSL Certificate and W3 Cache. We also use the Tips & Tricks Easy HTTPS Redirection plugin.
Did you correctly configure W3 Total Cache for use with our plugins?

Thank you for the quick reply!
Yes, The following is listed in the “Reject Cookies” box:
ap_id

eMember_in_use
It is likely you still have links pointing to the non “HTTPS” URL. Browsers do not share cookie between your “HTTPS” and “Non-HTTPS” URL. So if someone logs into the site from a “HTTPS” url, then if that person goes to another page that is “Non-HTTPS”, the cookie won’t be present and the plugin won’t recognize that user.
So you just have to make sure that you are consistent throughout the site. Have you made sure that all pages on your site can only be accessed using “HTTPS” URL?
Thank you for your reply!
We went through the pages on our site, adding the “s” to http, but I’m sure there are some we missed.
Thanks for the tip!
