I am using eMember 6.1.9 on the site [www.studythebiblenow.com]
The site has several custom sidebars and I want the member login info to show on different ones.
The emember login widget appears only once, and when added to a sidebar no longer appears in the widget choices to add elesewhere.
I tried the shortcode [wp_eMember_login_form:end] and this does not work but just displays [wp_eMember_login_form:end]
the [wp_eMember_compact_login] works fine however.
I had similar problems with the php shortcodes
any ideas or help would be appreciated.
Thanks
I have added a new shortcode that should work on the sidebar.
Use the following shortcode to place your login form (you can add a text widget to your sidebar and use this shortcode in there):
[wp_eMember_login]
Hi, Thanks, but I am still having the same problem with compact login viewing correctly but full login form not showing?
Is it not possible to have several instances of the eMember widget allowing it to be inserted on different sidebars/footers etc?
You can add as many login widgets as you want. All you have to do is add a text widget to your sidebar (forget about the emember build in login widget) then give it a title and paste the following shortcode in the body:
[wp_eMember_login]
I have tested this shortcode.
yes, i have done all of the above. I guess it must be a css issue with the theme i am using. Strange that one code would work (compact login) and not another though?
Please post a link to the page where I can see that you have placed the shortcode on the sidebar. What version number does eMember say when you go to the eMember’s settings menu?
I’m having a similar problem, hope you can help. Using eMember on wordpress site [www.archercourses.com] I’ve eneterd a member manually, given him user name and password, but when he logs in using the widget, it fails and he gets the message “Logged out successfully”. Can you please help?
