ParticipantSomeone has asked a similar question at this thread…
The problem is that there is no definitive answer given. The last post (by Admin) refers to this “solution” listed on the JVZoo forum…
[http://www.jvzooforums.com/platform-general-support/77.htm]
I have been working on a membership site (using eMember & eStore) that I was going to offer through JVZoo (based on all of this process working). Everything on the site is working. I am now down to setting up & testing payment processing (through JVZoo). I have discussed a couple things about this project/site with them and through that everything was going to work out ok.
Today, when I go to start testing this process, there is a “note” in the IPN forwarding integration setup area that says “(Does NOT work for recurring!)”. Just to verify this, I ran a test purchase through. The payment process is handled fine (through JVZoo), but at the end, I am not returned to my site to set up the membership. So, apparently, this forwarding is not working.
Is there any way that I can set something up to work around this? At this point, I don’t care if I have to manually approve members that join, or send them an email, or something. Through JVZoo, I can redirect them to a “Thank You” page after payment is complete. Could I use this feature to complete the sign-up process somehow?
Any ideas you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

ParticipantSince each “product” that I am creating in JVZoo is for a different membership level, I think I could use the “HTTP Post” (or HTTP Get) API function to create the membership. I could return the person that is signing up to a page specific for that membership level, and have them fill in their details.
If I understand this correctly, I think this would work. But the BIG problem would be that none of the memberships would be automatically tied to the Paypal payment processing. When someone cancelled their recurring payment, I would have to manually disable their membership.
Am I understanding this correctly?
If I did it this way, does the rest of the process remain the same? —After they fill in this info, they get a confirmation email that they have to click on, etc. Or does creating a membership through the API create the member database record and the WP user record?

KeymasterThe solution you are using is not in our *supported integration* list. So you won’t get a definitive answer on how to use them because unfortunately there is none at this stage.
I can answer your API related question though. When you create a member via eMember’s API it will create the full member account (including the WP User account if you specified it in the settings).
Yes, your understanding is correct about the recurring payment cancellation.
Creating a member account via API will create the full account immediately (the user will be able to log in as soon as the API call is made successfully).

MemberI have tried to follow the thread with explanations about how to integrate WP emember with JVZoo and have found no concrete answers about integration. First, the explanation links return Error 404 (not found). Second, when I do read the thread, I am lost with all the API stuff (above my head-not a programmer). My membership site (in emember) has multiple levels (silver, gold, platinum, etc) and payment times (annual and monthly recurring). I need to be able to set it all up. I’ve put lots of work into this membership site using emember, but it never occurred to me (until now) that emember might not work with JVZoo. Could someone please give me a list of steps (or a video would be better to follow) that shows how to integrate a product using emember for sale on JVZoo. Thank you.
PS Just to be safe, I’m also considering trying to use Clickbank at some future time.

KeymasterJVZoo integration is not one of our advertised or supported feature. Some of our users used some tweaks to get it working I think. Its not a feature we advertise so we have no documentation on it.
We can do a custom integration for you and give you concrete solution if you use the following option:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/need-custom-work-done
We have Clickbank integration for eMember.
