eMember – integration with eStore for customer area

Hi there,

We are considering eMember plugin and would like to know if it is a good match for what we need and how to go about it.

We have downloadable products that we sell and these are also once a while updated.

What we would like is:

After customer buys product (via eStore) it will send email with downloadable link together with log-in details generated for this new user(unless user account already exists).

After they log-in they can see section with their downloadable products (they bought any time) able to download any time OR anytime the version of product changes.

Please could you let us know if that is possible out of box with eMember and eStore combination, and most importantly how?

Yes it is possible.

Your download page is a protected eMember page which only your members can view.

To become a member they will buy a product via eStore whereby in the product configuration you have also specified the membership level id. Then when someone purchases this product the plugins will also automatically create a membership account for the buyer.

I have be going through all the videos and documentations. However I have few queries,

1. I am trying to set a marketplace where I can display all the products and also any new featured products.

But I am unable to do so.. here is a site to the site : [http://www.galacticstores.com/marketplace/]

2. I have also created a page called Dashboard in my WP but how could I display a list of products to download immediately which he/she has purchase.

3. How to add a product automatically the list when purchased.

4. How could I show the statics in the dashboard and his or history.

Please need a quick response from your side at the earliest, need to deliver the site immediately.

1. You do this with eStore. Simply use the shortcode to show all products. There is a shortcode for this so check eStore shortcodes list from the documentation.

Alternatively, you can categorize your products then show all products from a particular category on that page. This following documentation will explain this more:

When you add new items, it will automatically show up when you use the above.

2, 3 & 4) There are two ways you can allow your customers to redownload the update/latest copy of the product. Use a shortcode on this WP Dashboard page that you created and your customers will be able to download the items they purchased. More details here:

You can also use eMember’s purchase history option. The following documentation explains how to do purchase history so your customers/member can see what they purchased and re-download them:

The purchase history can also be used to show the their history of purchase.
