Tagged: account state, expiry date
Quite a few of my expired memberships are still shown as being active in the emember dashboard. The system doesn’t seem to be updating the “Account State” correctly based on the “Expiry Date”. If I log in for those memberships, the system correctly tells me that your account has expired, please renew etc and then that membership is correctly shown as expired in the emember dashboard.
I updated the emember plugin a few months ago and installed it without previously deleting the existing emember plugin and got an error message. So I deleted the emember plugin and then installed the new one again. Is it possible I have corrupted something which is leading to the Account State not being set to expired correctly?
Sorry I posted this in estore forum by mistake and don’t know how to move it to emember forum – emember troubleshooting
Reload a fresh copy now (if you haven’t done so already in the last 1 or 2 days):

Wait for a day after that to see how it goes.
PS. Your members will never be able to see protected content (if their account is expired). The plugin will do an extra account expiry check when they try to log into the site or access the content.
Thanks, I will try that.
Good to know that the system does another check when they try and log in, notices that their membership has expired and then asks them to renew.
