Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › eMember – expiration notice reminder showing shortcode
I have noticed that the expiration notice email isn’t pulling the data and displaying it in the email, but giving the Short Code instead.
This is what is being received:
> Dear {first_name},
> Just a reminder your account will expire in 2 days.
>
>Account Login: {login_link}
>
>Username: {user_name}
>Password: {password}
Using e-Member v7.9.8.1
Under General Settings
Allow Free Membership: [x]
Enable After login Redirection: [x]
Enable Auto Expiry Email Notification: [x]
Allow Expired Account login: [x]
Under Email Settings
Send Notification to Admin [x]
All the other email forms seem to work fine,
Best Regards
The expiry email is sent in batches every night for performance reasons (this works out better if you have a lot of members). So the usual email tag filtering is not performed on this email as the same email gets sent to many users in one go. So use static email body that is generic and applies to any user whose account is about to expire.
So don’t use any Short Codes for the Expired Email.
Thank you for the reply,
Best Regards
