Hi:
I have recently changed my site fully to AMP for mobile and laptop to increase page speeds. As a result, the eStore buttons etc, were having a problem, when integrated with Stripe. I changed my Payment gateway to Razorpay which allows me to collect money from both Indian and overseas clients if I use their PAY NOW button directly on my site instead of integrating with eStore.
My question is about creating courses with eMember:
If I use the PAY NOW button given by Razorpay and redirect buyers after payment to a particular membership level opening page, it could take the person to the course introduction page, correct?
For each course should I create a separate membership level, so those enrolled can access only the pages for that level (i.e. that course)?
How would it work out if a person enrolls for two different courses and/or at two different times? Would he then have to login separately for each course – or is there a way to allow him to see all the courses he has enrolled for?
ow can I work this out?
Regards,
Shobha Ponnappa
You might try using Multiple Membership Levels Per User. Each member would have an overall “base” membership level, and 1 or more “stacked” levels; representing the courses. As the stacked levels expire, they become inaccessible, until only the base level is left.
That is a brilliant idea. So I can make the page with the shortcode “[wp_eMember_my_membership_levels]` ito the redirect page after a member pays, for one or subsequent courses. I will try a dummy set of courses with the RAZORPAY Buy Now button to see how it can fit in with the workflow of eMemnber … if I get stuck I’ll come back to you.
Thanks for the help. It’s always awesome!
