emember – connection problem

I am trying to login with a user (there is a redirect), but I have the message, you are not logged in or you have been logged out and I can not access the members pages.

I have created a user “test” and password “five22” so that you can see on the site etre-soi.ch/member-login/.

Clicking the “login” button appears to do nothing, and the eMember login cookie, eMember_in_use does not get issued.

Are you using any page caching plugins? Also, please disable all redirections, until the “mystery” of what is going on with the login cookies can be resolved.

I have two options checked in addition to the image:

1) Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.

2) Extra homepage checks. (Very occasionally stops homepage caching)

Otherwise it’s the same as the picture.

Can you please check if you have the “Disable Simultaneous Member Login” checkbox enabled in the settings menu of the plugin? If you do, please uncheck that option and save it. Do you see any difference after that?

“Automatically log into eMember:”

“Preserve WordPress User Role:”, I just left

Automatically Create WordPress User: “checked, because I have a forum and people have to log in.

• I am able to login, and the login cookies are present.

   

• When I try to access the Forums in the Members Area, I see the message:

  “Sorry, only logged in visitors have access to this forum.”

   

Is that the problem you are encountering? What forum plugin are you using?

Looks like there is an anti-spam plugin on this site that is preventing the login to the WP user system from our plugin.
