Hello,
I have a problem today for connections to emember.
I am trying to login with a user (there is a redirect), but I have the message, you are not logged in or you have been logged out and I can not access the members pages.
I have created a user “test” and password “five22” so that you can see on the site etre-soi.ch/member-login/.
Sorry, I do not speak English and have used google translation, I hope the message is understandable.
Thank you in advance for your help.
November 26, 2018 at 2:20 pm #78824wzpModeratorClicking the “login” button appears to do nothing, and the eMember login cookie, eMember_in_use does not get issued.
Are you using any page caching plugins? Also, please disable all redirections, until the “mystery” of what is going on with the login cookies can be resolved.
November 26, 2018 at 3:51 pm #78825lavinceMemberI use the plugin wp super cache.
I removed the redirection in the general setting page and emember level.
November 26, 2018 at 7:53 pm #78826wzpModeratorI use the plugin wp super cache.
Have you followed these instructions?
November 26, 2018 at 8:15 pm #78827lavinceMemberYes both options are enabled.
I have two options checked in addition to the image:
1) Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.
2) Extra homepage checks. (Very occasionally stops homepage caching)
Otherwise it’s the same as the picture.
November 27, 2018 at 2:26 am #78828adminKeymasterCan you please check if you have the “Disable Simultaneous Member Login” checkbox enabled in the settings menu of the plugin? If you do, please uncheck that option and save it. Do you see any difference after that?
Also, it is a good idea to do the following test (keep only emember active and test the login):

November 27, 2018 at 4:33 pm #78829lavinceMemberThe option “Disable Simultaneous Member Login” was checked, I removed it and the problem remains.
I then removed “Automatically log into WordPress:”
“Automatically log into eMember:”
“Preserve WordPress User Role:”, I just left
Automatically Create WordPress User: “checked, because I have a forum and people have to log in.
I was able to login once and it does not work anymore …
For information the password is cinq22 and not five22 for the user “test”.
November 27, 2018 at 4:46 pm #78830lavinceMemberça fonctionne maintenant avec les 3 options
“Automatically log into WordPress:”
“Automatically log into eMember:”
“Preserve WordPress User Role:”
décochées. Mais pourquoi pas avec?
November 27, 2018 at 7:12 pm #78831wzpModeratorFor information the password is cinq22 and not five22 for the user “test”.
Well, *****THAT***** changed things…
- I am able to login, and the login cookies are present.
- When I try to access the Forums in the Members Area, I see the message:
“Sorry, only logged in visitors have access to this forum.”
Is that the problem you are encountering? What forum plugin are you using?
November 27, 2018 at 7:51 pm #78832lavinceMemberSorry for the password, but it works now since I unchecked the 3 options
“Automatically log into WordPress:”
“Automatically log into eMember:”
“Preserve WordPress User Role:”
It did not work before or yesterday. But why not with?
I use asgaros forum, I wish that members do not need to reconnect to the forum after registering to emember, that’s why I checked “Automatically log into WordPress:”.
I just tested by checking the box “Automatically log into eMember:” and it does not work. I remove it for the moment but would like to understand why.
November 29, 2018 at 1:58 am #78833adminKeymasterThe login should work fine even with those options enabled. I will log into your site and check it. I have sent an email to you to organize this.
November 30, 2018 at 7:38 am #78834lavinceMemberI gave you the information by answering your email yesterday.
Thank you and let me know if you find a solution.
have a good day.
December 2, 2018 at 2:19 am #78835adminKeymasterLooks like there is an anti-spam plugin on this site that is preventing the login to the WP user system from our plugin.
- I am able to login, and the login cookies are present.
