Tagged: installation, wp-admin not accessible
Hi there! I successfully installed the plugin on my localhost, and it worked well. Upon transferring to a live server, w-admin page couldn’t be accessed. I renamed the eMember plugin folder, and everything went back to normal. Upon re-activating, wp-admin becomes un-accessible. What could be the problem?
When you say can’t be accessed do you mean your WP User’s role is not admin or do you mean you get a blank screen?
A blank screen (white screen) when you load your site usually indicates that your server is running out of memory or you are nearly on the memory limit (RAM memory allocated for your PHP application). So when you active another big plugin it is pushing over your memory limit that your hosting provider has allocated for your account. This limit specified in your server config then makes it to where WordPress can’t load the page and shows a white screen. Here is another related post where other users saw this issue:

If the issue is related to your user account not having access then that means you put your WP Admin user in a membership level without the admin role. This post will help you fix that:

Thanks a lot. It was a memory issue. I increased the memory through wp-config.
