Hi there,
We have recently taken over managements of a website that uses WP eMember. For some reason the Settings page is not accessible. If we follow the link on the Plugins page we get a “Sorry, you cannot access this page” message. And the sub-menu item for Settings does not appear in the WP Admin menu.
We have purchased a new license for the plugin in order to get support for this issue.
Many thanks,
Luther
For some reason the Settings page is not accessible.
That means that your user account doesn’t have “Administrator” permission. Are you logged into WP as the site administrator?
We have purchased a new license for the plugin in order to get support for this issue.
Since you have a new license, have you tried reinstalling the plugin?

All of the existing data is stored in the WP database, and will not be affected.
Hi there,
Thanks for your reply.
I am an administrator, and yes I have re-installed the plugin. I might try deleting the user and creating a new one, in case it’s to do with that…
Will update.
UPDATE:
The plugin was updated as I said before. And I have created a new Administrator user and this user also cannot access the settings page.
Please advise!
Many thanks,
Luther
It is likel that the previous management used some kind of “Role manager” and gave custom role access to eMember. I will need to look into your site and check this. I have sent you an email for it.
Fixed! Thank you very much
