eMember – autoupgraded to next level, can't access previous levels

I am using the autoupgrade feature to drip-feed content. The problem is, once a member has been ‘upgraded’ to the next level, they no longer have access to the previous level / previous month’s content. They are paying for a year’s subscription so I think it’s important that they are able to access the month’s that they already paid for if they want to
